Sean Sedwards has created two useful Gaussian Blur plug-in filters, a freeware version (Light Gaussian Blur b.) and a set of three shareware filters (Micro Blur a., Light Gaussian Blur b. and Medium Gaussian Blur c.). Both filters are plug-in filters and can be applied to 24-bit bitmaps within Xara.
Figures c-e represent figures a-c positioned over a bitmap with Xara’s Stained Glass transparency added.
Sean’s Blur Filters are available as freeware and shareware. You can download one or both filters on a trial basis. If you like the shareware filters and plan to use them, the price for the filters is contained in the documentation file.
