Select the top ellipse and press Ctrl K to make a duplicate in the same position. Select the duplicate top ellipse, the widest ellipse, and the four sided shape.
From the Arrange menu, select
Combine Shapes > Add Shapes. This makes one continuous outline of the three objects and removes all internal overlapping shapes.
We now have a lamp shade, opening, and two parts for the lamp base.
