Put the outline of the pumpkin shape
and a copy of the eyes, nose and mouth group, to one side, we'll need them later.
Paste another copy of the eyes, nose, and mouth group on top (ShiftCtrlV). Select the group and center
it over the pumpkin. Select both and Combine Shapes > Subtract Shapes (Arrange menu).
Easiest pumpkin you ever carved, eh?
Now that we've carved the pumpkin,
center the blended lines over the opening and send them to the back (CtrlB). Looks pretty convincing.
Using the Ellipse Tool, draw an
ellipse that covers the eyes, nose, and mouth opening.
Apply a solid yellow fill.
With the ellipse selected, select the Fill Tool then select Elliptical from the drop down list of Fill Types on
the Infobar. By default the center of the fill will be white, which is exactly what we want.
