Ross, Big Frank, Eric B., Steve, and Ivan, among others, provided the inspiration for this illustration. The worm (created with a worm brush that I made) reflection was made from a bitmap copy of the worm, trimmed to the bulb shape and with a generous amount of transparency added. Reflections such as these, really add to the illusion of a glassy, reflective surface.

I think the chrome, and the iris turned out much better in the tutorial, but I like the shape of the bulb better in this illlustration.
