Using the Rectangle Tool, draw a
very short rectangle from the ear to the glasses. Click twice on the rectangle to toggle into Rotate / Skew mode. Drag either end skew handles to skew the rectangle as shown. Flop a duplicate. Apply a
pale yellow fill for the left stem and a gold fill for the right stem.
Resize the eyebrow to fit and flop a duplicate.
Make another duplicate eyebrow, resize it larger and flop it vertically to make one half of the
moustache. Convert the eyebrow to Editable Shapes (Arrange menu), and Ungroup. Select one unit in the moustache and reverse
the direction of the fill. Also change the top color to white. Copy the shape (Ctrl L) then select all the moustache shapes and paste the attributes (ShiftCtrl A or Edit >
Paste Attributes). Group (CtrlG) the moustache and flop a duplicate. Arrange as shown above.
Using the Ellipse Tool, create an
ellipse 265 by 245 pixels and position it as seen here.
We'll use this ellipse as a guide to create Santa's beard.
Using the Pen Tool, and starting
at the junction of the left ear and face, begin adding short line segments around the elliptical outline.
Continue adding short line segments until you reach the junction of the right ear and the face.
