It's official, Xara X should be released in September 2000! And what better way to honor the long-awaited release than with the first Xara X-based tutorial?

Several years ago, I created a chrome pretzel with CorelDRAW. And while the effect was pretty cool, I have found that Xara X's superior anti-aliasing engine, produces an image that is considerably smoother and better overall.

Plus, and this is a big plus, with the addition of the new Custom Brush Strokes, you will be able to add a tasty amount of chrome salt to the chrome pretzel. Something you cannot do in DRAW! I'm sorry that this tutorial will be a bit like playing piano on a keyboard with no sound. But when at long last Xara X ships, the first lesson will be in place waiting for your efforts. Until then, you'll just need to use your imagination.
