We'll be using Pixels as our Units of measurement. Right click on the screen and select Page Options from the pop up menu. In the Units
tabbed section, set the Units to Pixels and the Color Units to 0-256.
In the Grid and Ruler tabbed section of the Page Options dialog, set the Major Spacing to
100pix (key it in exactly like this), and the Number of Subdivisions to 10.
Using the Ellipse Tool, draw an
ellipse 250 pixels wide by 210 pixels tall. (You can enter the actual number on the context-sensitive Infobar at the top of the page).
With the ellipse selected, select Convert to Editable Shapes from the
Arrange pull-down menu.
Using the Shape Editor Tool,
select and drag the bottom point (aka node) upwards as shown. Select each of the Bezier control handles (the red boxes) and drag them downwards as shown.
If you don't see the handles, click the point with the Shape Editor Tool
and the handles will appear. If they do not appear, make sure you have converted the ellipse to editable shapes.
