Xara 3D is pretty cool and can produce all kinds of great 3D text effects.

But sometimes it's just as much fun, and more rewarding, to create the 3D effects, from scratch in Xara 2.

We will create a 3D cube with the help of the Quick Shapes Tool, and the Blend Tool, and we'll create an Isometric grid and use the grid to construct the 3D text. When we are done, we'll recycle the grid.

We'll start off with a review of some of the basics techniques so  our less - experienced users can complete the tutorial.

Finally, Xara 3, or 9, or whatever it ends up being called, is just around the corner. Xara promises April at the latest. So hang in there just a little longer.
