Phase Three — Creating the Stereogram

I'll make the assumption that you have downloaded and installed PopOut Pro. If you have been naughty and not done so, I'm going to give you another chance. CLICK HERE for your second chance.

This is what you see when you open PopOut Pro. So why does it say GP PopOut in the title bar. It's a long story and space is short.

Press the first button, Depth File, and browse to the directory where you saved your TARGA files. Select depth.tga and press OK. The file name will appear in the first window.

Press the second button: Stereogram File... and name your stereogram.

Name your stereogram in-out.tga and press OK

 

NOTE: PopOut Pro was written for Windows 3.1 and does not support file names over 8 characters. You'll probably notice file names and folders truncated (with a ~ inserted) in the browser windows, as the names in this screen capture show. So try to keep your file names short.
