Group the circles and position them as shown over the cross. Construct another circle, 150 pixels in diameter, place it between the circle and the cross and center it beneath the grouped circles.

Apply a Circular Transparency. Make a duplicate of the grouped circles and reduce the size to 25%. Place it behind the large grouped circle.

REMEMBER: Use the Alt key to click select an object that is on the layer directly beneath another object.

Make another duplicate of the small cross. Position it over the small cross in the illustration.

Select the small cross and the background and from Arrange, select Combine Shapes > Subtract Shapes. We now have a window in the background.

Group the cross and spheres, send them to the back (Ctrl B), and center them as shown.

If indeed we had a bright golden sky outside the window, the inside of the window opening should reflect this color, wouldn't you agree?

Make a duplicate of the large cross or make another from scratch if necessary.

Using the Fill Tool, apply a Circular Fill using Orange and Violet from the screen palette.

Select the cross and apply a Bleach Transparency, Flat, and adjust the Transparency slider to 30%

That looks better.

Take another eye break. We're almost finished.
