This is the second Xara X specific tutorial. By the time you read this tutorial, I'm hopeful that Xara X will either be shipping or about to ship.

I prepared this month's tutorial in the middle of August as two things will be happening around September 1: I will be frantically rehearsing my material for the CorelWorld Conference in San Diego, California, and I shall be frantically getting all my possessions together for the big move. My wife, the five cats, the finch and the canary will be in a Ford Econovan driving from northern California to our new home just north of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bekins will arrive a few days later with the accumulation of 25 years together. Wish us well.

In June of 1996, I created a leaded glass effect tutorial . I've learned a lot since then. And some of the new capabilities in Xara X make the process easier. So this month, we'll revisit another tutorial and discover some new features along the way. Ready?

A Word from Our Sponsors.

The free tutorials found here in The Trompe L'Oeil Room are made possible by Xara, Ltd., England. The XaraXone, is made possible by i-us.com. Great people in both places.

Both are currently offering Xara 3D 4 the little 3D app that rocks. CLICK HERE to go to Xara's Web site or CLICK HERE to go to the i/us Xara 3D 4 page where you can also review the latest Xara 3D 4 features, take a quick tour and a beginning tutorial.

I thank you. My sponsors thank you.
