There, that looks better.
How did I do it?
I created a duplicate of the blurred transparent bitmap and brought it to the front (Ctrl F).
I used the arrow keys to center it over the lead and glass image. The blurring added
diffused color to the lead and to the glass creating the same diffused effect you would see if you were looking at a bit of back lighted colored glass.
The glass still looked too opaque so I created yet another
duplicate of the bottom bitmap, which further darkened the glass and added some of the lead shape showing though the glass.
Finally, I had a hunch if I deleted the shadow bitmap, the glass would
look brighter and more transparent. I deleted it and the glass did indeed look better. Lessons learned, eh?
