Last Piece
of the Puzzle

Well, October has come and gone and still no official release of Xara X. However, both i/us and Xara Ltd., have made a free public beta version available for download. (isn't this is the same text from last month?)

CLICK HERE to download your free public beta version of Xara X from i/us. (There is a newer beta, by the way that is good through November 22).

Why i/us? Well for the last four years, i/us (and before i/us, CorelNet) has provided the server space for these tutorials. i/us also sponsors the WebXealot (my illustrated monthly Xara e-newsletter) and has provided the Xara Conferences for us to communicate with one another. When you buy from i/us, Xara Ltd. still gets their share of the purchase price and everybody wins. Xara or i/us? I'll leave the decision up to you.

What this month's tutorial lacks in creativity, it makes up for in a review of Xara's powerful new features. We will create a jigsaw puzzle and in doing so will use the Bevel Tool, Shadow Tool and Clip View among others.

Questions, comments, compliments and criticisms are always welcome. If you are a new user and something is not clear, use the form on the last page to send me your questions. Each tutorial comes with a full money back guaranty. If you are not completely satisfied, return the unused portion of the tutorial and you will receive a prompt and cheerful refund.
