Here is the final image. I made it bigger so the image would be appear more dramatic.

And I have made a few last minute modifications. For openers, I duplicated the blend and applied a Fractal Plasma, Bleach transparency. This adds some texture to the flaring light.

I made a small red sphere like the large one and adjusted the fill so the brightest part is on the bottom reflecting the light from the flared lights. I also made a small version of the blend and reflected it on the bottom of the small sphere. And finally I added a reflection of the small sphere.

Next month I am going to try to do something less high tech. I might even attempt some form of plant life. (No roses however).
