Step 1, open Flash. I'm using Flash 5 but the basics should translate to earlier versions.

Right click on the stage (the white page below the timeline) and select Movie Properties from the pop up menu. Change the dimensions to 200 px x 200 px (key it in exactly like this with a space between 200 and px).

Click the Background Color button and select #009900 (5th color from the top left). Press OK to exit the dialog.

To the left of the Timeline (that section that looks like graph paper) click the New Layer button (the tiny page icon with the +) 3 times to add three new layers.

Double click on the title bar that reads Layer 1 to enable text editing. Change the name to Text. Double click on Layer 2 and change the name to Mask. Change the name for Layer 3 to Circle Mask and the name for Layer 4 to Sound.

So far so good, eh?

Click once inside frame 1 in the Text layer to select this frame.

From the File pull down menu, select Import...

Browse to the folder where you exported your Flash .swf files from Xara.

In the Import dialog, select Flash Player (*.swf) from the Files of Type drop down list. Select text.swf and press OK to close the dialog.

Click once in frame 1 in the Mask layer. Import the file mask.swf into this frame.

Repeat these steps and add circlemask.swf to frame 1 in the Circlemask layer.
