The sphere could use a little more shape. Draw a circle the same size as the sphere, fill it Black and change the Fill Type to Circular. Reposition the center of the fill to match the sphere's highlight as shown here. Apply a Flat Transparency, Stained Glass, amount 70. Make a duplicate circle, centered directly over the other, and change the Transparency Type to Bleach, amount 70. This adds a bit of depth to the shading as you'll see in the next figure.
