Marquee select (drag a rectangle around all the objects with the Selector Tool) and from the Arrange menu, Combine Shapes... Add Shapes.

This makes one shape with one common outline from the five shapes. And this makes something that could pass for an ivy leaf.

Select the leaf with the Fill Tool and select Fractal Clouds from the drop down list of Fill Types on the Infobar.

Modify the fill using the two gray green colors shown. Click the Profile arrow on the Infobar and select Profile 5 from the drop down list of preset profiles.

Select the Freehand and Brush Tool. Set the Smoothness slider to 40%.

Draw a series of branching lines.

Select all the lines and change the line width to 4 points.

With all the lines selected, select the Freehand and Brush Tool and open the Stroke Shape drop down.

Select Dab. This gives all the lines the appearance of veins in the leaves.
