Group (Ctrl G
) each set of square, circle and numeral. Create three duplicates of each group. Bring the new shapes to the front (Ctrl F), and position them over the duplicate square/circle/numeral groups as shown.
Use the Object Alignment menu (Arrange) to align the new shapes Top vertically and Left horizontally. Select each shape/group, and from the Arrange menu select Combine Shapes >
Intersect Shapes. TIP: Here's a shortcut. Select the object
and the group, hold down the Alt key and press r c i (Alt r opens the Arrange menu, c selects Combine Objects and i selects Intersect Shapes. |
