When you're happy with your animation press the Export Animation button to open the Export Animated Gif dialog.
Unlike the Export
dialog in the drawing window, which has all the options displayed in one menu, if you name and save your animation in the animation window, the animation will be automatically saved with the settings you have made in the
Animation Properties dialog. If you want to check the settings or change the settings before exporting, click the Options button. Otherwise, press Save
and it's a done deal, as we animators like to say.
Adding the extra space to the first and last frame adds a bit of timing to the animation and makes it more interesting.
