I like to include "floating objects" in many of my Stereogram images. More often than not, the floating objects I include repeat the hidden 3D object and serve as a visual clue as what the hidden image is. Floating objects, depending upon the number of objects and their spacing can either appear to float above the image or in some cases appear to float behind the image.

Find the duplicate copy of the 4 infinity symbol object and change the fill colors to those shown above. Group the 4 parts and reduce the width to 60 pixels.

Make a duplicate of the reduced image and place one at each end of the Stereogram and in from the sides of the image about 30 pixels. The two images should be top aligned. Select the Blend Tool. Click on one of the symbols and drag across to the other symbol to create a blend.

When you view the Stereogram, the floating objects should appear to be floating about half way from the back to the front.
