Hot Air Being the Operative Word!

We'll be using Pixels for our units. Right click on the screen and select Page Options. In the Units section select Pixels and 0-255 for the Color Units.

Click the Grid and Ruler tab. Change the Major Spacing to 100pix (key it in exactly like this) and the Number of Subdivisions to 10 . Press OK To exit.

Select the Ellipse Tool. Hold down the Ctrl key and drag a 165 pixel circle. Using the Rectangle Tool construct two rectangles to the sizes and positions shown.

 

Select the Blend Tool. Click it on the small rectangle and drag to the square. Change the number of Blend Steps on the Infobar to 4.

Select the blend with the Selector Tool (the arrow). From the Arrange pull down menu, select Convert to Editable Shapes. Ungroup the blend (Ctrl U or Arrange > Ungroup).

 

Using the Selector Tool, drag a rectangular shape around the rectangles to marquee select them. Open the Object Alignment menu (Arrange > Alignment).

From the Horizontal Positions drop down list select Distribute Equi-spaced . The 6 rectangles should now be distributed end to end.
