Draw a circle the same size as the enveloped beach ball, apply a Black fill with no outline. (To turn off the outline, click on the cross-hatched square to the left of the screen palette with the right (as opposed to the left) mouse button). Select Circular from the Fill Type drop-down list and drag the center up and left as shown in the illustration on the left.

Apply a Flat, Stained Glass Transparency, amount 50%. Copy and Paste the shape (Shift Ctrl-V) and change the transparency to Flat, Bleach, amount 30%. Looks rounder, but it still doesn't look much like an egg, huh?
