Select the illustration and Group the elements. Click on the Mould Tool and click on the Circle icon on the Property Bar. Bingo! Instant fish eye effect. Position the sphere over the base. Draw a circle the same diameter as the sphere (shown in red). Draw a straight line at just about the bottom of the sphere. Use the Shape Tool to create a gentle arc as shown. Select the curve and the circle and Combine Shapes -- Subtract Shapes. Select the circle and from Arrange select Break Shapes. Delete the bottom section. Select the modified circle and the sphere and Combine Shapes -- Intersect Shapes. This is the same as Draw's PowerClip. Set the outline to none.
