Apply a Circular Fill to the circles with the center white and the outside 10% black. Copy the fill (Ctrl-C) and paste the attributes (Shift-Ctrl-A) to the other spheres and the foreground rectangle. Select the hat rectangle and Convert to Editable Curves. Use the Shape Editor Tool to round the top and bottom edges. Draw a vertical line through the rectangle as shown. Select the line and the rectangle and Combine Shapes--Subtract Shapes (the line disappears). Select the shape and from the Arrange menu, select Break Shapes. Apply a 70% black to 100% black Linear Fill as shown, to each section. The lightest portion of each fill is in the center. Draw an ellipse for the brim and apply a 100% black and 60% black Conical Fill. Make a duplicate, change the fill to Radial, drag the lighter portion to the left. Position this ellipse under the first ellipse with the bottom sticking out about a point (to create an edge to the brim.)
