- Automated creation of JavaScript rollovers and toolbars including creation of the necessary HTML and JavaScript.

- Automated image slicing on export.
- Feathering to smoothly merge objects into their backgrounds.
- Integration with Dreamweaver.
- Object clipping path (masking) feature.
- Optimized bitmap export including comparative preview of different formats and low level control over colors and transparency from within the export dialog.
- Contour Tool
for expanding and shrinking the borders of an object
- Support for non linear fill Profiles for Blends, Transparency, Color Fills etc.
- Multi-stage gradient color fills.
- Improvements to the already powerful Blend Tool, including editable blends on a curve.
- A new Names' gallery, which makes it easy to simultaneously edit groups of named objects.
- Improved color handling including an Eyedropper Color Tool.
- Further transparency developments including seven new transparency types.
Xara X CD When you order and download Xara X
online, Xara will send a CD in 30 days or less. The Xara X CD will contain:
- 300 fonts in TT and Type 1
- 800 textures
- 200 photos
- 3000 clip art images
- Main introductory movie and a many demo movies
