Using the two colors shown, apply an Elliptical Fill to the dots. Drag the center of the fill upwards so the highlight is in the upper portion.

NOTE: In case you're wondering, this is the inside of the dice and we are seeing the back side of the dots.

Place the hexagon behind the three sides. With the hexagon selected, select the Quick Shapes Tool. Double click on the hexagon with the Quick Shapes Tool . This changes the corners from straight to rounded. Select Curvature and change the amount to .05 inches. This will provide rounded corners for the sides as you can see with the tiny amount showing in black.
