Select the Blend Tool and drag from the left red line to the center red line. Change the number of Blend Steps to 7. With the Blend Tool still selected, drag from the middle red line to the right red line.

NOTE: Xara lets you create an endless series of blends by continuing to drag from the last object to the next. You can use this technique to create a multi- colored blend.

Did I mention we are going to create an Isometric grid? I was afraid not. Well we are.

Select the blend and from the Arrange menu, select Convert to Editable Shapes.

Ungroup all the lines (Arrange menu) and then regroup them. Press Ctrl K to place a duplicate set of lines directly on top. In the Rotation Angle text entry window, enter 60 and press Enter. Repeat this step to make a third set of lines. I've given the three different sets of lines different outline colors for illustration purposes only.
