TIP: Xara's Pen Tool leaves much to be desired when it comes to drawing constrained vertical or horizontal lines. There is no keystroke combination to constrain the line direction. So, drag  guidelines from the rulers onto the page and drop each end of your line on the guidelines.

Using the Pen Tool, draw two vertical 1-point lines and position them at either end of the card. Apply a white outline to the left line and a 20% black outline to the right line.

With the two lines selected, select the Blend Tool and drag from one line to the other to create a blend. Then change the number of Blend Steps on the Infobar to 36.
