*NOTE: When working in a magnified view where the entire page is not visible,  use Ctrl-V to paste objects from the clipboard. Xara  pastes the object or objects within your current view regardless of where they were copied from. Using Shift-Ctrl-V might result in the object or objects being pasted out of your current view.

With all the elements safely in the clipboard, click the New Animation  button (shown) to open Xara 2's animation window.

Paste the objects using Ctrl V*.

Select all 8 bitmaps and Cut them to the clipboard (Ctrl-X). (The circles indicate the overlapping bitmaps)

Click the Animation Properties button (shown left) and in the Frame tabbed section, check the Background option. This option will automatically copy the checkered panel and text to the new frames.
