Select the text and Copy it to the Clipboard (Ctrl-C).
Change the fill from white to black and move the text down and to the left 5 pixels in each
direction.
TIP: I set the Nudge Size (Page Options > General) to 1pix. When I use the arrow keys I can move selected objects with
precision.
Shift + Nudge moves the object 10 times the amount, Ctrl + Nudge moves the object 5 times the nudge amount. Alt + Nudge moves the object 1 pixel.
With the black text selected, select the Transparency Tool
(shown). Change the Transparency Type to StainedGlass and the amount to 60% using the slider on the Infobar.
Paste the text from the Clipboard back onto the page using Shift-Ctrl-V
to paste it in the exact location from which it was copied. If the text on top is not white, change the fill to white.
With the black text selected, select the Transparency Tool
(shown). Change the Transparency Type to Stained Glass and the amount to 60% using the slider on the Infobar.
