Remove the purple squares. And that's the basic maze. Select all the squares and group them (Arrange > Group or Ctrl g). NOTE: I have made my grid 15 x 15 squares. There is no reason why you can not have more squares if you want. Just keep the number of squares in the row to an odd number. The same applies to the columns.
Duplicate the maze (Ctrl d) and rotate the duplicate 90 degrees clockwise. The easiest way to rotate the duplicate is select it, enter -90 in the Angle of Selection text entry box (shown above) and press Enter to apply the rotation. NOTE: If you apply a color to each maze it will make it easier to tell them apart.
