Corvette Gran Sport 2002
was Corvette's 50th anniversary, so there was more than the usual amount of 'Vette projects. This is a T-shirt illustration employing a more modern version of the poster style used in the "1955" and "1956" images. Although I was tempted to again make use of a muted palette, the actual car is such a brilliant blue and looks so imposing in bright sunlight that I opted for a selection of saturated, brilliant primaries and secondaries instead. The shadows in the lettering reflect the embossed badges on the real thing.
