In this issue:
The winner of the second package of neat stuff from EyeWire Graphics is
Krista Graham
who stated in her very terse message that her favorite season is Spring. No comments. No words of encouragement. Just Spring. Must be pre-Winter solstice ennui. As you remember from last month, I said that those names from the first drawing would be included in the second drawing, so even though Krista failed to submit the form from last month, her entry carried over and she wins. Wilbur and Orville have gone to Boca Raton for the Winter and so the winning entry was picked at random by your editor.
Next month's drawing is going to be pretty awesome as you might have noticed at the top of the page. I'm not going to say more, you'll have to go to the last page for more information. Insider Information! News and More News We are getting closer to Xara 3!!!
Yes, it's true. Your editor received his beta copy of Xara 3 shortly after the deadline for the last WebXealot. Unfortunately I'm still bound by my nondisclosure agreement, so I can't reveal the contents of Xara 3, but I can tell you this much, Xara 3 is pretty awesome. The product team at Xara Ltd., spent a lot of time going through the wish list in the Xara Conference and many of the features and improvements suggested have been addressed. Without saying anything that could get me in too much trouble, it's a little bit like CorelDRAW--on speed!
The reason for the veil of secrecy is so the other products that compete with Xara don't have any advance warning. And you know Adobe and Macromedia would pay lots of money to know what is in Xara 3. If there are any Adobe or
Macromedia spies out there reading this, how much money are we talking about, guys? Just kidding, my lips are sealed. The XaraXone News Want to be informed of all changes in the world of Xara. The You're editor wishes to thank all of you who
used the form to submit your entries and your encouraging comments. Feedback is always welcome, as are questions and even criticisms. The feedback on the new user information is overwhelmingly positive. |
