Champagne bubbles originate from the bottom of the glass and float upward. I’ve drawn four lines with the Freehand Tool. (Fig.a.) I created a bubble, (enlarged for detail) comprised of two circles. The larger is Radial Filled gold to black, the smaller circle, the highlight, is very pale yellow. The two were grouped and Exported as Draw 6 CMX and Imported into CorelDRAW. Two different sized bubbles were Blended Along Path, Full Path, the curving lines being the paths. This process was repeated four times, the number of blend steps was changed each time. (Fig. a.) The bubbles were saved in Draw 5 format, and Imported back into Xara and placed over the glass. A slight Transparency was applied to some of the bubble blends to make them appear to recede. (Fig. b.) A white rectangle--for a highlight--was drawn, Converted To Editable Shapes, and then shaped by dragging on the sides with the Shape Editor Tool as shown. (Fig. c.) A Linear Transparency was applied to the highlight. A duplicate highlight was flopped and the transparency increased. The highlight creates the illusion of glass. I changed the outside color of the glass as shown on the right.
