We need to create shapes for the wine and the top of the glass. Place a Copy of the yellow ellipse in the Clipboard. (Ctrl C). (Fig. a.) Select the yellow and gold ellipse and from the Arrange menu, Combine Shapes-Add Shapes. (Fig. b.) To Paste the yellow ellipse directly back on top, key in Ctrl+Shift V. (Fig. c.) Create a duplicate of the TOP blue ellipse. Select the duplicate and the yellow ellipse and Combine Shapes-Slice Shapes, then Break Shapes. This creates two new shapes. (Fig. d.) The blue ellipses have been moved to show the knocked out portion.
