Paul's Halftone Effect

One final tip that is often overlooked (and/or forgotten by me). Fortunately Xhris on the Talkgraphics forums recently pointed it out to the members.

You can change the perspective (apparent Z order) of your text/shape. Hold down the Alt key and press the - (minus) key on your numeric keypad and you can move the shadow away from the text/shape. This makes the text/shape appear further away from the background. Hold the Alt key and press the + (plus) key on your numeric keypad to move the shadow closer to the text/shape. To return the shadow to it's default relationship to the text/shape, hold down the Alt key and press the * (asterisk) key on your numeric keypad.
