Clone your image (Ctrl+K). With the cloned copy still selected, add the width of your image to the X position and type this value into the X coordinate space in the toolbar. The cloned image will then position itself immediately to the right of the original image.

Ok, we are going to define hotspots so that when the mouse pointer passes over a hotspot, a section of the image on the right is going to be shown overlaid over the image on the left.

In the case of this example, every time the mouse passes over any hotspot, the red light in the bottom left corner is going to light up as well and some text will appear in the red window top left. When the mouse pointer passes over one of the buttons it will change colour to red and the pointer on the scale at the bottom will move to the right.

To achieve this, make the changes to the individual objects in the image taking care not to move the position of any object with respect to left/right image copies. Don't worry about the text window right now, we'll sort that out later. For now just make sure the text window in the right hand image is clear.
