Create your masterpiece. This is by far the most difficult part of the tutorial and could take anything from a few minutes to several months to
complete.
The image you create will form one half of the final image to be downloaded from your website, so try not to make it too big.
To save a bit of time, here is one I
prepared earlier.
Step 2a
Add a rectangular shape behind your
chosen image and make it the same colour as your intended web page background colour. Also, make sure the rectangle dimensions are whole pixels. In this case the size is 380pix by 260pix.
Step 2b
Position your image so it is
aligned on a whole pixel boundary. Here, the X and Y position coordinates are 10pix and 280pix respectively. The reason for this will hopefully become clear in Step 3.
