Apply an Elliptical fill. Add orange and yellow
colours to the fill by double clicking on the
horizontal fill path arrow to add nodes, then select
each in turn and select colours from the screen
palette or mix and apply them in the Colour Editor.
The outer most colour should be black or very
dark brown. The flame is starting to resemble a
kernel of un-popped popcorn.
Draw a basic flame shape with no outline. It doesn’t have
to be elegant. As you can see mine resembles more of a
teardrop shape
