Creating 3D Plastic Text

I’ve spent way too much time playing with Xara and, finally, I’ve managed to come up with a simple way to create some good-looking 3D objects. Since I’m an engineer (the black sheep of the family), I tend to want to do things fairly mechanically and this technique fits that desire pretty well.
