Step 16 Add a touch of color and highlight to the eye lid.

Step 17 Soften the shape of the chin and neck.

Step 18 Begin to rough in the hair and clothes.

Add and refine the details... At this stage, the drawing contains about 300 objects. The final picture might easily contain 1500 objects or more.

This is the same way you would create a painting working from broad areas of light and dark and then adding more and more detail until the image is finished.

I do not think you will be able to reproduce this drawing from this tutorial, but I hope you will get an idea of the process and the step that are involved.
