Right click on the text to open the Color Editor. Color can be applied to the entire text or symbol, or to the front and back with a separate color selected for the Sides Only as shown above.

Textures can also be selected in this window from the drop down list. The text color or texture, as well as the background color or texture, can be selected and edited. Colors can be specified in RGB values, RGB and Hexadecimal, or HSV.
