Sizing Pixels (positioning pixels) The image shown above shows the 3D image along with it's 'sizing pixels'. As you can see, when the shapes are extruded, the sizing pixels are also affected in a similar way. These extra extruded 'sizing pixels' can be cropped afterwards when a final view is chosen by you. This image also shows how the tank looks in another 'frame' of the 'time line'. The pieces are more spaced out. Such a view can be useful when one is searching for hidden objects.
Positioning of the Pieces The above 3D image includes 3 tracks made up of 2 separate vector shapes (shown below) on each side of the tank. The 2 centre tracks are blue, while the 4 outer tracks are coloured red. Within the 'animation options' I have adjusted the positions of each track using the 'amplitude %' box as follows.
These are my settings for one side of the tank, the settings for the other side (with the 'direction' button this time not being depressed ie. up) are as follows:
Note that the tracks are slightly different in layout. (ie. the slats are staggered). Each track has been 'extruded' to a depth of 2 (shown below).
