	Step 1 Create a SQUARE using the Rectangle Tool and hold down the Ctrl key to constrain the rectangle to a square. With the Shape Editor Tool draw a wide horizontal line (shown red).

Step 2 Select both the square and the line and from the Arrange menu, select Alignment. In the Object Alignment window set to Align Centrally & Align Centrally in both drop down boxes.

TIP: Just click on the centre of the window with the different colored icons to set these automatically.
