In the early 90s, I discovered my interest for computer graphics. My first, diffident
steps were taken with Corel Draw 2 and 4. But only after the release of Corel Xara, did I know I had discovered 'my' program and my graphics started to look quite presentable.
My former hobby, drawing and painting, proved to be a good basis for this. In Xara, I am
working with various techniques. The starting point is mostly a hand-drawn sketch, based on professional journals (like my airplanes and cockpits) or on pure fantasy.
The finishing touch to my pictures is given with programs like Bryce 4, Photo-Paint and,
for awhile, Poser 4.
I wish to draw interest to my collection of pictures, in Germany as well as
international. That's why my son Dino and I created a Web site for my images kuenstlerpunkt about one year ago. We would also like other artists to be able to show their work on our Web site, whether it is traditional or created on the computer.
We hope someday to market our pictures commercially on this page.
I am honored to have my artwork featured on a site devoted to Xara.
