Mercury Illustration: I saw all the car illustrations in the Xara Gallery, so I thought I would give it a try. I was teaching myself Xara and loved the control at which you could manipulate textures, transparency and especially the soft feathering. The Merc' was the 2nd part of a series. The first one I had done by hand using airbrush many, many, years ago, so I thought it would be cool to show an airbrush in the picture because Xara is perfect for getting that airbrush look without the hassle of cutting frisket or spitting spray.
