Old Continental Booking Office
My second computer was an A3000 Archemedes (a follow on from the old BBC micro) in which I started with "Draw" then purchased "Artworks" from Computer Concepts, Xara's founders. The image above was produced in "Artworks" but has since been enhanced in "Xara". The image is of the old Victorian continental booking office at the ha'penny pier at Harwich (my home town).
I have always loved the ability to zoom in on an item to allow the detail to be included. I forget now what "Artworks" maximum zoom was, but "Xara's" zoom factor was a dream come true. |
