The code at the left is the simple table that I constructed to house the four elements. The table consists of a single column and two rows. The code shown here is a bitmap because if I had posted the actual code, it would have displayed as a table and not as copy.
Basically he said, the image statements in the Java script code had to be saved without line breaks, otherwise the white horizontal lines will appear. Joel also reminded me, and for the sake of clarity and accuracy I'll quote, "Our manual is over 500 pages of instruction on using the program. Most importantly are the webmastering tips in the Using the SPG WEB Tools chapter. For a lesson on how to code multiple rollovers on a single page 1) open the manual to the Contents tab 2) open the Using the SPG Web Tools section 3) go to the Using the IMG Rollover Builder page 4) click on the How To... button 5) see the lesson "To Add Multiple Images Coded for Rollover Effects to the Same Web-Page"
SPG Web Tools has excellent online HELP and and even better Manual in PDF form which can also be downloaded from the SPG web site. When you add the capabilities of SPG Web Tools to the artistic capabilities of Xara 2 you have an unbeatable combination of strengh and elegance that can run circles around Adobe's Imageready and Macromedia's Fireworks. That URL once again is SPG Web Tools. It's available right here at i-us.com. Check it out, you're going to love it. So that's it for this month. Obviously I've chosen to do things the hard way. A horizontal arrangement would have worked better without the white line, but life is not always a contest to see how easy we can make things, eh? Your comments, questions and quibbles are always welcome, although I prefer the former to the latter.
No nibbles on the book contract. The publishers must not be visiting the site. But for the record, I'm ready, willing, and more or less able to write the first and best Xara book.
