This tutorial was prepared in Xara 1.5. You should be able to recreate these techniques in Draw 6 or 7. Turn on Snap To Grid and draw two rectangles with an equal amount of space between them. With the Rectangle Tool still selected, click on the Round Corners icon on the Property Bar and round both rectangles as shown.
