You can create a 3D version of the 2D logo. As I am not using the expensive software products, it goes without saying that am not using 3D-Max [And he never thought to try Xara 3D -Ed] (Hey, software is expensive in Egypt where I live!!!). The images above were created using Asymmetric 3D f/x released in 1996. There is a great option that can accept imported 2D objects embedded in special vector file formats like .AI (Adobe Illustrator ), EPS, or WMF [Now we know he has not tried Xara 3D which can accept 2D objects created in Xara X—In fact the objects can be copied from Xara X and pasted directly into Xara 3D. -Ed] and then you can convert the 2D object into a 3D object and edit as you wish. This tutorial has been made very simply. I am from Egypt and English is not easy for me to write (thank you Gary for editing my text).
